Inspect all kit components before every use. Check harness webbing for cuts, abrasions, burns, and UV degradation. Inspect the rope for fraying, kinking, or damage. Verify the rope grab double-locking mechanism engages and releases correctly, and confirm the integrated shock pack lanyard snap hook functions properly. Inspect the roof anchor for deformation, corrosion, or damage to the forged D-ring and hinge. Any component subjected to a fall must be immediately removed from service and replaced regardless of apparent condition.
