The Frontline ALPHA swivel anchor sold with its weld-on puck: weld the puck to a steel structure, bolt on the 5,000 lb swivel D-ring anchor, and move the anchor to a new puck when the work moves. The D-ring rotates 360° and pivots 180° front to back so the connector follows the worker. Galvanized zinc with yellow passivation for indoor or outdoor use, 1.2 lb, bolt included.

STWD5K or STB5K: which one?
The STWD5K comes with a weld-on puck for structures you cannot drill; the STB5K is the same ALPHA swivel anchor bolted straight to the steel. Both are 5,000 lb, 310 lb user.
Who should weld the puck?
A qualified welder, to the structure's engineer or Frontline's instructions. We do not publish the weld spec; ask us for Frontline's instruction sheet.
Can the STWD5K anchor a horizontal lifeline?
Frontline says it can be combined with other approved anchors in a temporary horizontal lifeline system. Follow the lifeline manufacturer's anchor requirements.
Is the STWD5K reusable?
Yes. Frontline lists the anchor as reusable, with the weld-on mounting kit replaced when it moves to a new work area. Inspect before each use and retire it after any fall.
