HORIZONTAL LIFELINE KITANSI/OSHA · 100 FT · NON-PENETRATINGSSRA1 × 4 · SSRA3 × 2 · MALTA HLL3001
The Standing Seam 100 ft Horizontal Lifeline Kit puts a temporary horizontal lifeline across a standing seam metal roof without drilling a single hole. Four SSRA1 seam anchors and two SSRA3 anchor plates form the end anchorages, and a Malta Dynamics HLL3001 100 ft kernmantle rope lifeline runs between them, so up to two workers can clip on and travel the full span instead of repositioning a single anchor all day.

CERTIFICATION — ANSI/OSHA · NOT CSA MARKED
The SSRA1 anchors and SSRA3 plates are tested to ANSI/OSHA requirements, and Malta Dynamics rates the HLL3001 to OSHA. None of the components carries a CSA Z259 mark, so confirm acceptance with your authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) on CSA-governed Canadian sites. A qualified person must design the system, confirm the roof seams can carry the loads, and calculate fall clearance (rope sag included) before anyone clips on.
Standing seam horizontal lifeline kit FAQ
How many workers can use this system at once?
Two on a standing seam roof. The manufacturer limits the HLL3001 to two users when it is anchored with the SSRA1 anchors and SSRA3 plates; the four-user rating applies only when the lifeline is anchored to structural steel with the cross arm straps.
Does it drill into the roof?
No. The SSRA1 anchors clamp to the standing seam with stainless steel set screws and the SSRA3 plates bolt to the anchors, so the panels and the roof warranty stay intact. The whole system comes off at the end of the job.
Is it CSA certified?
No. The SSRA components are tested to ANSI and OSHA requirements and the HLL3001 is rated to OSHA. Check with your AHJ or site safety officer before specifying it on a CSA-governed site.
What roofs does it fit?
Steel standing seam panels, 22 or 24 gauge, on roof slopes up to 15° (about 3/12). The SSRA1 fits more than 500 seam profiles including snap-lock, T-seam, bulb seam and MR-24. Not for aluminum, zinc or copper panels. Send us the panel maker and seam dimensions and we will confirm the fit.
What else do I need?
A full body harness and a shock-absorbing lanyard or SRL for each worker, and a rescue plan. Have a qualified person confirm fall clearance below the line, including rope sag under load, before use.
