Super Anchor 2801-D ARS 2x8 Permanent Roof Anchor Kit | Canada
Super Anchor 2801-D ARS 2x8 Permanent Roof Anchor
The ARS is the residential permanent roof anchor the industry has relied on for over 25 years. The 2801-D kit mounts over the top chord of a 2x4, 2x6 or 2x8 truss or rafter during framing or re-roof, then flashes into asphalt shingle or wood shake with the included base flashing and stem cover. Once it is in, every roofer, chimney sweep, solar installer and maintenance tech who follows has a watertight, permanent tie-off point waiting for them.

Is the Super Anchor ARS 2x8 Approved for Use in Canada?
The ARS is certified to ANSI Z359 and OSHA 1926.502 / 1910.66. In Canada, roof anchors must also meet provincial OHS anchorage requirements (typically 22.2 kN / 5,000 lb per worker), which the ARS meets when installed over sound structural framing per the manual. Confirm acceptance with your authority having jurisdiction before use. Inspect before each use and remove from service after any fall.
