PARAPET ANCHORANSI/OSHA · NON-PENETRATINGMODEL ROP16
The Frontline ROP16 Parapet Adjustable Non-Penetrating Anchor clamps over a parapet or structural wall up to 15 in thick to give one worker a 5,000 lb tie-off point without drilling, bolting or marking the finished structure. It sets up in seconds with no tools, comes off just as fast, and is painted electrostatic safety green so it is easy to spot on the roof edge. Use it for commercial roof-edge work, rooftop mechanical service, building maintenance and suspended-access tie-off where a penetrating anchor is not an option.

Frontline ROP16 parapet anchor questions answered
Is the Frontline ROP16 parapet anchor CSA certified?
No. It is built to OSHA 1926 Subpart M, OSHA 1910 and ANSI Z359.18-2017. Check with your authority having jurisdiction whether an ANSI/OSHA anchorage connector is accepted on your site; if you need a CSA-marked anchor, contact us and we will point you to one.
How thick a parapet will the ROP16 fit?
Up to 15 in. It also fits other structural walls that meet the same criteria, provided the wall itself can take the load.
Does the ROP16 damage the parapet?
No. It is a non-penetrating clamp-style anchor; nothing is drilled or bolted into the parapet, facade or roof membrane.
Do I need tools to install it?
No. The anchor adjusts to the wall and locks in place by hand in seconds, and removes the same way.
How many workers can tie off to one ROP16?
One. The anchor has a 5,000 lb connector strength and a maximum user weight of 310 lb including tools.
Does it need inspection before use?
Yes. Inspect the anchor and the wall before every use and have a competent person inspect it on a schedule. Remove it from service after any fall or if it shows damage, deformation or corrosion.
